The team is supervised by Mark Randall who is a partner and head of the department.
Mark Randall – Partner
Mark is the head of the team and has over 30 years’ experience in employment law. Mark has been working in this area since he qualified and has assisted many individuals with varying employment matters.
Mark qualified as a solicitor in 1986 after obtaining a degree in Law, completing the Solicitors’’ Final Examination at the College of Law in Chester and completing his training contract at our predecessor firms Ackerley Heaton and Pigot and G. Raymond Pigot & Co. Mark was one of the founding partners of the firm Houghton Pigot & Co.
Lisa Hopper – Legal Secretary
Lisa has over 19 years experience working as a legal secretary and has over 10 years experience in employment law work. Lisa has worked with Mark Randall as his legal secretary and in this department since around 2006. Lisa also has wide experience assisting in family law and general dispute resolution matters. Lisa works at the Wigan office.
Lisa joined our predecessor, G Raymond Pigot & Co in 1988 and after a break returned to work for Houghton Pigot & Co in 1999. Lisa started as a junior and also has experience in private client work.
Joyce Hurst – Legal Secretary
Prior to joining us in 2007, Joyce worked as a legal secretary at another local solicitor for about 12 months. Joyce joined as Mark Randall’s legal secretary at the Ashton-in-Makerfield office and has worked in this department since that time, except for a short period when she worked for another local solicitor. She also has wide experience assisting Mark Randall in family law and general dispute resolution matters.
